Join us in celebrating stories that inspire, connect, and ignite the imagination during the second annual
Truckee Literary Crawl
I April 10-11, 2026
The Truckee Literary Crawl is a one-of-a-kind free celebration of writers and readers building a rich, vibrant literary community in the Truckee/Tahoe region and beyond.
Held April 10–11, the Lit Crawl takes place across lively, walkable venues—from art galleries and bars to breweries and theaters—transforming downtown Truckee into a dynamic storytelling experience. Throughout the event, 60+ local and regional authors, along with voices from across California, Nevada, and beyond, present short readings from their recently published works, followed by engaging audience Q&As.
With every genre represented, you’re sure to find something you love.
Is it poetry? Make a day of it.
Historical fiction? We’ve got you covered.
Romance or crime thrillers? It’s all here.
Cap off the evening at our open-mic showcase, where you’ll hear fresh poetry and prose — sometimes shared for the very first time.
