Tahoe Literary Festival

Literary Voices. Local Roots. Lasting Impact.

October 10-11, 2025

The Tahoe Literary Festival champions literary arts high in the Sierra Nevada by nurturing emerging voices, celebrating established ones and bringing the community together to listen, share, and learn - all while inspired by the natural beauty of North Lake Tahoe.

A celebration of writing, art, and storytelling

Tahoe Literary Festival joyfully embraces a vibrant celebration that goes beyond writing alone. This event honors the power of storytelling in all its forms — literature, visual arts, spoken word, and interactive workshops. Attendees can immerse themselves in author readings, art exhibits, live performances, and creative craft sessions, fostering a rich community experience that inspires creativity and connection across diverse mediums. Join us for a multifaceted celebration where words, art, and imagination come alive together.
